MINI announced today the 2014 Mini Hatch US price. According to the British car manufacturer, the 2014 Mini Cooper hardtop will be priced from $19,950 excluding a $795 destination and handling charge. The model is set to go on sale this spring and the entry-level version features leather-wrapped sport steering wheel, ambient lighting, a six-speaker audio system, air conditioning and 15 inch alloy wheels. 

Under the hood, customers will get a 1.5 liter TwinPower Turbo 3-cylinder unit rated at 134 horsepower and 230 Nm peak of torque. Under these conditions, the British model can sprint from stand still to 60 mph in 7.3 seconds, while the top speed is clocked at 130 mph.

The 2014 Mini Cooper S has a starting price of $23,600. It features sport seats, black checkered trim and 16 inch alloy wheels. Under the hood, buyers will find a 2.0 liter TwinPower Turbo 4 cylinder engine rated at 189 horsepower and 299 Nm peak of torque. As a result, the car can go from zero to 60 mph in 6.4 seconds while the top speed is clocked at 146 mph.
