A few weeks ago, the German car maker Mercedes-Benz has launched the new generation of the S-Class. Today, the German tuner Brabus has decided to show us what they can do on such a very special model. They have created a more aggressive and elegant exterior package and, of course, a performance kit.
On the outside of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class we see a new front spoiler with larger air intakes, revised side skirts and a chromed air diffuser. The exterior package ends with a new 21-inch set of wheels wrapped with Continental, Pirelli or Yokohama tires.
Inside the cabin, the customers will find premium leather of Alcantara upholstery, Brabus sill plates and a high performance multimedia system.
As for the performance, Brabus have released three packages for two S-Class different versions.
The first one who got the Brabus treatment is the S500. With a special mapping for injection and ignition, an increased boost pressure, the 4.7 liter V8 biturbo engine can deliver now 512 horsepower and 820 Nm. In these conditions, the sprint from stand still to 100 km/h is done in 4.2 seconds, while the top speed can be electronically limited to 250, 275 or 300 km/h (155, 170, and 186 mph).
The second 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class who got some Brabus magic is the S 63 AMG. In this case, the power output has grown with 143 horsepower reaching a total of 650 HP while the torque jumps from 700 to 1.000 Nm.
Last, but not the least is the Brabus B63S. This package is based on the same S63 AMG, but it features new turbochargers, an upgraded ECU and new air intake. Thanks to these modifications, the Brabus B63S is delivering 730 horsepower and 1.065 Nm peek of torque. According to Brabus, this version has a top speed electronically limited to 325 km/h (201 mph).
