Brabus has revealed today the brand-new exterior, interior and performance package for the 2014 Mercedes-Benz GLA. On the front, the German crossover has received a more aggressive bumper with side air intakes, new side sills with built-in LED and unique 21 inch alloy wheels wrapped in performance tires.
At the back, Brabus has installed a roof-mounted spoiler, a sporty bumper and a quad exhaust system manufactured from stainless steel. In addition, the German tuner has decided to modify the suspension and increased the ride height by 30 mm. Furthemore, they are offering a set of sport springs which can lower the ride height by 25 mm.
The 2014 Mercedes-Benz GLA 220 CDI is now delivering 40 horsepower more than the standard version. Under this condition, the German crossover is capable of delivering 210 HP and 410 Nm peak of torque. As a result, the model can sprint from stand still to 100 km/h in 8 seconds, while the top speed is clocked at 20 km/h.
This version of the German model can also be had with a sport exhaust featuring controlled butterfly valve, allowing the driver to control the soundtrack provided by the exhaust "from discreet to markedly sporty."
Furthermore, Brabus also offers a performance kit for the GLA 45 AMG. The AMG version of the German crossover is now reated at 400 horsepower and 500 Nm peak of torque, with 40 HP and 50 Nm of torque more than the standard version. As a result, the sprint from zero to 100 km/h is done in 4.4 seconds, while the top speed is clocked at 270 km/h.
