Mercedes-Benz has announced the 2014 Citan Crewbus model. The new German van will go on sale next spring and it represents an extra-long version of the Citan model.

According to Mercedes-Benz, the 2014 Citan Crewbus can offer seats for seven people thanks to two individual third-row seats that can be folded down or removed. 

The new 2014 Citan Crewbus was specially designed for those brands that handle commercial passenger transport or commercial cargo transport.

The new German van will be offered with two engine choices. The first one is the Citan 111 CDI. It has a 1.5 liter diesel engine that is able to deliver 110 horsepower and 240 Nm peak of torque. The car can sprint from not to 62 mph in 12.3 seconds while the top speed is clocked at 170 km/h. The starting price for this model is 17.130 Euros.

The second version of the new German van is the Citan 112. It starts at 15.810 Euros and features a 1.2 liter petrol unit with 112 horsepower. Thanks to this amount of power the car will be able to sprint from not to 100 km/h in 11.7 seconds and the top speed will be clocked at 173 km/h.
