Jaguar has unveiled today the all-new 2014 F-Type Coupe. The all-aluminum F-TYPE Coupe range will deliver, in production form, the uncompromised design vision of the Jaguar C-X16 concept, and will complement the existing F-TYPE Convertible, winner of the 2013 ‘World Car Design of the Year’ award.
The 2014 Jaguar F-Type Coupe will come in three different versions. The first one will use a 3.0 liter V6 supercharged unit rated at 340 horsepower and 450 Nm peak of torque. Under these conditions, the British model can run from zero to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds while the top speed is clocked at 259 km/h.
The second version is the F-Type Coupe S and it has the same engine rated at 380 horsepower and 460 Nm peak of torque. Under these conditions, the F-Type Coupe S can run from stand still to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds while the top speed is clocked at 275 km/h.
The range-topping version will be the F-Type Coupe R. It is equipped with a V8 5.0 liter supercharged engine. It delivers 550 horsepower and 680 Nm peak of torque. Under these conditions, the car can sprint from not to 100 km/h in 4.0 seconds while the top speed is clocked at 300 km/h.
According to Jaguar the F-Type Coupe has a starting price of 51,235 GBP and is followed by the S version at 60,235 GBP. The range-topping F-Type R Coupe begins at 85,000 GBP. Sales are programmed to commence next March.
