The Japanese car manufacturer Honda revealed on its official Facebook page a picture with the upcoming 2014 Civic hatchback WTCC model. As many of you may already know, a couple of weeks ago, Honda revealed the Civic Tourer WTCC, marking the return of an estate car in this championship. 

On the outside, the 2014 Honda Civic hatchback WTCC is featuring an aggressive and sporty aerodynamic package. On the front we see a special radiator grille, a new splitter and a carbon fiber hood with an air scoop. Furthermore we see special side skirts, larger wheels and arch extensions. Last, but not least is a massive spoiler mounted on the trunk-lid.

According to Honda JAS Motorspors team will compete in the 2014 WTCC season with the all-new Civic hatchback WTCC edition. Behind the wheel of the Japanese model will sit Gabriele Tarquini and Tiago Monteiro. There will also be private outfits such as Zengo Motorsport with Norbert Michelisz as driver and Proteam Racing with Mehdi Bennani behind the wheel.
