As you know, back in 2011, Novitec Rosso has unveiled a tuning project for the Ferrari 458 Italia. Today, the German tuner house has unveiled a unique and stylish package for the 458 Speciale.
Novitec Rosso has developed a lightweight body kit. It features new spoilers, a unique blade for the front bumper, carbon-fiber moldings with gill-shaped profile for the rear side windows, a massive rear wing and a carbon-fiber diffuser with an electrically adjustable center section.
According to Novitec Rosso, the tuning program not only give the car a more sporty appearance, but also minimize negative lift on the front and the rear axles, “benefitting directional stability at high speeds”.
The Novitec Rosso officials told us that they will deliver various performance kits for the Novitec Rosso 458 Speciale. The range-topping one will increase the standard output to 636 horsepower at 9,250 rpm and 572 Nm peak of torque at 5,550 rpm. As a result, the Italian supercar will have a top speed of 330 km/h.
Novitec Rosso has also paid attention to the exhaust system of the car. It consists of two high-performance exhaust manifolds, sports catalysts and a rear muffler. The system also feature two matte black-coated tailpipes with a diameter of 100 millimeters that produce “an optimized power yield and a sportier sound”.
It was developed from INCONEL, the same material used for the exhaust systems in Formula 1. As a result, the new system is seven kilogram lighter than the stock one. The new sports exhaust will be also available as a stand-alone option with a version with electronic sound management.
