Bentley has revealed today the 2014 version of the Continental GT Speed luxury model. The new British car is featuring more power and, according to the British firm it represents the company’s quickest production model ever made.
Under the hood of the 2014 Bentley Continental GT Speed is the same W12 6.0 liter twin-turbo engine which was modified to deliver 626 horsepower and 819 Nm peak of torque.
Compared to the ongoing version, it features an increase of 10 HP and 19 Nm of torque. Under these conditions, the 2014 Bentley Continental GT Speed is featuring a top speed of 206 mph, while the convertible version can do a top speed of 203 mph. In addition, the British engineers have modified the chassis and the suspensions.
On the outside, the 2014 Bentley Continental GT Speed has a minor paint trim updates on the rear diffuser, front splitter and side skirts. The 21 inch wheels are now finished in dark, just like the interior of the headlights and taillights.
The visual changes continue inside the cabin of the GT Speed, starting with a completely new color split reserved exclusively for the Speed models. Starting with a dark monotone interior, accent stripes in a contrasting color are applied across the doors, rear panels, fascia wings, inner console and gear lever.
