The new Volkswagen Golf 7 Variant will go on sale this summer in Europe. To prove us that the new break will be astonishing in its class, Volkswagen has released a new set of details and photos. 

The seventh generation of the Golf Variant will be 105 kg lighter than the previous version and will come with new petrol and diesel engines that are up to 15% more fuel efficient. Comparing to its predecessor, the new Golf Variant has an impressive 605 liters capacity of load and if the rear seats are folded down the capacity reaches 1.620 liters. 

The 2013 Golf Variant will come with the new XDS+ electronic differential lock in standard, while the dynamic chassis control (DCC) will be available in the option list. Under the hood we will see a wide range of petrol units and diesel ones that can be matted to a five or six speed manual transmission or to a DSG six or seven speed gearbox.

In Germany, the price for the new Golf 7 Variant will start from 18.950 Euros for the base Trendline trim level. It standard it comes with 7 airbags, electric door mirrors and windows, ESP, air conditioner and tire pressure monitoring indicator.
