We have a couple of leaked photos with the 2013 Toyota Auris, which seem like scans from a Japanese brochure but which popped up online through the Spanish from Noticias Automotivas.
The images show the upcoming hatch from both the front and rear, and also reveal the interior, and from the looks of it, we are not only talking about a sportier exterior, but also about a more luxurious cabin that uses higher quality materials.
Overall the 2013 Auris represents quite a big step forward, with some of the most notable features on the outside including the Camry inspired front fascia with the slim grille and headlights but with a massive trapezoidal lower grille, the slopping roof line, the redesigned taillights and the new rear bumper that integrates a black element that mimics a diffuser.
As far as the engine lineup, the 2013 Toyota Auris is expected to be offered with two 4-cylinder engines, 1.5 and 1.8-litre in capacity, and two BMW sourced units with 1.6 and 2.0-litre displacements.
The new Auris compact will be officially unveiled sometime in July.
