Porsche is expanding Cayenne’s current range with its most powerfull version yet: the Turbo S. Sharing the same engine with the current Panamera Turbo S, the most powerfull SUV in Porsche’s range uses a twin-turbocharged V8.
Thanks to titanium-aluminium turbine wheels, fitted to the turbochargers and a reprogrammed engine control management, the 4.8-liter gasoline unit develops 50 hp and 50 Nm more. This means that the new Turbo S can impress it’s future clients with a total amount of 550hp and 750 Nm of torque.
Thanks to such power, the 4×4 can reach 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds and top a maximum speed of 283 km/h. Even with the extra 50 hp, Porsche says that the V8’s average consumption will remain the same as the Turbo version: 11.5 liter/100 km.
On the outside, the Turbo S version comes with bespoke 21-inch alloy wheels, smoked headlamps, gloss black accents on the lower part of the mirrors and bumpers, and rectangular quad tailpipes.
Porsche Cayenne Turbo S will start at 151.702 euros or $196.212 in Germany, 30.000 euros more than the Turbo version.
