Nissan has revealed its latest version of the 370Z Nismo which is set to go on sale this summer. The 370Z Nismo comes with a new body kit thanks to which the coupe will be able to generate as much downforce as the GT-R.

The new model which seems to be more aerodynamic also has firmer suspension, bigger diffuser with integrated twin exhausts, lower side sills, a wild rear spoiler, and wider side skirts.

The 3.7-litre V6 engine’s power output has been improved from 324hp to 335hp. Also, the torque figure has been increased from 267 lb-ft to 273 lb-ft reached at 5,200 rpm.

The 370Z Nismo will be offered only as a coupe with a six-speed manual gearbox, a decision Nismo’s chief product specialist, Hiroshi Tamura explained: "Paddle shift is useful in very quick cars like the GT-R – the 370Z Nismo is not a time-chaser, it’s all about getting the driver to converse with the car."

In these conditions the coupe performs the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 5.2 seconds.
