Mini Paceman is the seventh production model in the British manufacturer line. It will be the star of Mini stand at this year Paris Motor Show.
Characterized as being the world’s first Sports Activity Coupe in the premium small and compact vehicle segment, the new Paceman “symbolizes the innovative combination of go-kart feeling on the road and enhanced versatility through optional all-wheel drive.”
The design hasn’t change too much, compared with the Countryman, The two-door version looks sleeker, has a sportier sloping roofline, muscular flared wheel arches, distinctive roof in special colours with integrated spoiler and, for the first time on a Mini, rear lights in horizontal arrangement. No surprises for the interior, where the cabin supports room for only four people.
The new Paceman will be offered with a choice of two petrol and two gasoline engines, with outputs ranging from 112 to 184 horsepower, found on the top Cooper S version.
This model will be capable to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.5 seconds, topping a speed of 217 km/h. A 6-speed automatic gearbox and ALL4 all-wheel drive are on the options list.
