Mercedes-Benz has unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show the brand new S63 AMG. Today, the German car manufacturer has published a full photo gallery and new details.

Under the hood of the new S63 AMG we find a bourbon V8 5.5 liter that can deliver 577 horsepower at 5.500 rpm and 900 Nm peek of torque between 2.250 and 3.750 rpm. In these conditions the sprint from stand still to 100 km/h is done in 4.4 seconds (4.0 seconds for the LWB model equipped with 4Matic system) while the top speed is clocked at 250 km/h. 

According to Mercedes, the 2013 S63 AMG is 100 kilograms lighter than its predecessor thanks t the new lightweight lithium-ion battery, AMG forged light alloy wheels and AMG composite braking system.

More than that, this is the first S63 AMG available with the 4Matic system. The German all wheel drive system was also tweaked by AMG and now he will send 33% percent of the engine torque to the front axle and the rest to the rear axle. 

The engine resources are managed by the AMG Speedshift MCT-7 that has 3 driving modes: "C" (Controlled Efficiency), "S" (Sport) and "M" (Manual).

The 2013 Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG will land in European dealerships in September and the start price for the Germany will be of 149.880 Euros and 152.617 Euros for the long wheel base version.
