Lexus has also previewed the 2013 LS 460 F SPORT in Los Angeles last night, the most aggressive interpretation of the new LS range.
This variant unique exterior elements, a sport interior, dynamic handling and advanced safety innovations that include Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Advanced Pre-Collision System.
Starting with the exterior the 2013 Lexus LS 460 F SPORT features a distinctive front fascia enhanced by the three-dimensional mesh grille, and also by the larger cooling openings, the black grille
surround and round fog lamps. The F SPORT version also comes with a chrome-plated bar running along the
bottom edge of the rear bumper and a total of six colour choices which include the Ultra White colour that is exclusive to the F SPORT model.
On the inside the new LS 460 F SPORT is distinguished by the rest of the LS models due to the unique F SPORT seats with larger bolsters and the leather wrapped steering wheel equipped with paddle shifters and aluminium trim.
The extra sportiness offered by the F SPORT results from the fact that the car uses a sport tuned air suspension that has been lowered by 0.4 inches, a Torsen limited slip rear differential, Brembo 6-piston caliper brakes and 19 inch forged wheels with summer or all-season tires wrapped around them.
The engine powering the 2013 will be a 4.6-litre V8 rated at 386 HP and 367 lb-ft of torque, figures which will be converted into performance via an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
