The Japanese automaker has just released photos and details with the 2013 Lexus GS 450h right before the hybrid sport sedan’s debut at the 64th edition IAA Motorshow.
Featuring a powering system composed from a 3.5-litre DOHC V6, a permanent magnet synchronous motor and a Nickel-Metal Hydride battery, the 2013 Lexus GS 450h has a total output of 338 HP, all of which get sent to the rear wheels through an E-CVT – Electronically Controlled Continuously Variable Transmission.
According to Lexus the new GS 450h goes from nought to 60 mph in 5.6 seconds while in terms of fuel consumption, an improvement of 30 percent is expected when compared to the previous generation. The car can be driver in five different modes (Normal, Eco, Sport S, Sport S+ and EV) and its top speed is electronically limited to 131 mph.
Other details regarding the 2013 Lexus GS 450h indicate that the car measures 190.7 inches in length, 72.4 inches in width, 57.3 inches in height and has a wheelbase measuring 112.2 inches.
