Hyundai US has announced pricing for the new six/seven-passenger Santa Fe, starting at $28,350 for the Santa Fe GLS FWD and $33,100 for the range topping Santa Fe Limited.

The all-new three-row, six/seven-passenger Santa Fe comes equipped with Hyundai’s Lambda II 3.3-liter GDI V6 engine producing 290 horsepower. The engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and Santa Fe is tow rated up to 5,000 pounds. Santa Fe has an EPA estimated 25 mpg highway fuel economy rating. The "Fluidic Sculpture" design theme is continued with the three row version and completes the third-generation Santa Fe family. The two-row, five-passenger Santa Fe Sport was released in the second half of 2012.

To accommodate the additional third row, the Santa Fe wheelbase is 3.9-inches longer and the overall length has been extended by 8.5-inches compared to the Santa Fe Sport. Second-row legroom is increased by 1.9 inches and passenger volume increases by 38.6 cubic feet versus the Sport. The standard 50:50 split folding third-row provides 31.5 inches of legroom.
