Today, the German car manufacturer BMW has officially unveiled the upcoming 2013 BMW M4 Coupe Concept. As you already know, the Bavarian prototype will have its public debut this year at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
According to BMW, the new M4 Coupe Concept will preview the upcoming production version and it was designed to express the BMW M Philosophy in ideal form.
On the outside, the 2013 BMW M4 Coupe Concept comes with an aggressive and sporty exterior. It has a special front bumper, ventilated fenders and an integrated trunk lid spoiler. The exterior is completed with a 20-inch wheel finished in two-tone color. The German engineers also used some carbon fiber for some body parts.
The BMW officials didn’t reveal any performance information, but they have said that the 2013 M4 Coupe Concept will come with high performance and with an engine that can deliver an immense power.
According to some previous rumors, the 2013 BMW M4 Coupe Concept will hide under the bonnet a twin-turbo 3.0 liter six-cylinder engine with 450 horsepower and 550 Nm peek of torque.
“The BMW Concept M4 Coupe reflects the BMW M philosophy in ideal form: It combines motor racing genes and unrestricted everyday suitability in a highly emotional overall concept. For four generations, the BMW M3 has put motor racing on the road and the BMW Concept M4 Coupe consistently continues to pursue this fundamental idea”, said BMW M Chairman Dr. Friedrich Nitschke.
