BMW has big plans for big cars like the current 7 Series. The german manufacturer intends to expand his line-up with two versions, expected next year.
The first member will be an M Performance 7 Series. The package will be applied to the current 750i and will affect the cars performances in a good manner.
Under the hood we will find the same 4.4 liter V8 twin-turbo engine, capable of offering 450 horsepower, instead of the regular 408 hp. To step in front of the standard 750i version, the M package will ensure that the new member will have a sportier chassis and improved driving dynamics.
For those who are looking for a more safety approach, BMW will also offer the xDrive all-wheel drive system. The prices will be above those of the current 750i, but bellow the top of the range 760Li.
Also next year, BMW is preparing a new 728i version that will probably be powered by a 2.0 liter petrol engine, assisted by a small electric unit.
In addition to the 245 hp delivered by the conventional engine, the small electric motor will not only increase performance, but also reduce fuel consumption significantly, and delimit the new entry-level engine in the BMW 728i from the 740i.
