Only a few days after Saab was practically saved from vanishing from the auto industry by the Chinese from Pang Da and Youngman, a sketch with the next generation Saab 9-3 has started to circulate on the web.
Saab is already looking confident into the future and according to Autocar this new 9-3 is only one of the several models prepared to be launched in the upcoming years. The new 9-3 should arrive sometime in 2013 or 2014 and bodystyle options will also include fastback and convertible variations.
Revised versions of the Saab 9-4X and 9-5 SportWagon are also in the works, and according to the same source, a competitor in the premium compact segment, possibly called the 9-1 is also part of the automaker’s recovery plan.
What we like about the upcoming 2013 2014 Saab 9-3 is the fact that its body has gained a coupe like shape, and the rear area looks sportier.
