The facelift version 2011 VW Jetta has barely been introduced, with pricing for U.S. announced two days ago, and various reports are already mentioning that the automaker is working on the VW Jetta Hybrid for 2012.
The same sources are also saying that in 2013 the company will introduce the electric versions VW UP and  VW Golf and these models would be an important step towards VW’s global domination in the EV segment.
Martin Winterkon, CEO at VW said that VW Lavida Hybrid destined for China is a go, and also part of their next steps is testing the forthcoming Golf TwinDrive which is a plug-in hybrid.
