Preliminary info regarding the facelift version 2012 Renault Koleos has just been unveiled by the French company, after a series of leaked photos with the company’s new generation crossover have started appearing online.
In terms of cosmetics the new Koleos comes with a revised front end, which now features a 6-point grille highlighted with chrome, slimmer headlights plus new mirrors which now incorporate LED turn indicators. The 2012 Renault Koleos also looks more dynamic due its high ground clearance combined with new and sportier looking alloys, while at the rear the styling has been carried over from the previous generation.
The interior has also been improved, offering increased modularity and comfort along with various technologies like hands-free entry and ignition, electronic parking brake, automatic headlights and screen wiper, plus the Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent
Control systems on the 4×4 versions Koleos.
Engine choices for the 2012 Renault Koleos facelift will depend on the market, but they include the M9R diesel which can be ordered with wither 150 HP or 175 HP and the TR25 petrol developing 170 HP.
Dues to improvements made to the engine and gearbox, Renault has managed to cut down emission levels on the diesel versions, so for example the 4×2 dCi 150 is now emitting 148 grammes of CO2 per Km while the dCi 175 has been reduced to 166 grammes per Km.
The 2012 Renault Koleos price and availability was not announced yet.
