Various media outlets are reporting that the German automaker will debut the 2012 Porsche Cayman Clubsport at this year’s edition LA Motor Show.
The 2012 Porsche Cayman Clubsport which is expected to hit the market next year will be the most powerful version Cayman, with an output level of 340 horsepower while weighting 85 Kg less than the regular model.
Performance figures indicate that the 2012 Porsche Cayman Clubsport will accelerate from 0 to 100 Km/h (0 to 62 mph) in 5.0 seconds thanks to its 3.4-litre 6-cylinder boxer engine.
The 2012 Porsche Cayman Clubsport will feature 19 inch alloys, side air intakes, aluminum doors and various composite components as well as lightweight materials for the interior.The cabin will also feature a roll cage and sports seats, and the car’s ride height will be reduces by 20 mm.
Only a limited number of units will be produced with the 2012 Porsche Cayman Clubsport price being unknown at this point.
