MINI has announced how much the new two-seater Roadster will cost in the US. Pricing will start at 23,350 USD for the base model which comes equipped with a 1.6-litre inline-four unit rated at 121 HP and reaches 34,500 USD for the range topping JCW (John Copper Works) variant fitted with a 1.6-litre turbo engine developing 208 HP.
There is also the MINI Cooper S Roadster which carries a 27,250 sticker price, and this case we are also taking about a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine but with a power output of 181 HP.
Transmission choices include manual and automatic options, except for the JCW Roadster which is exclusively offered with a manual.
The 2012 MINI Roadster price does not include the 700 USD destination and handling fee. If compared to the four-seat Convertible, the Roadster costs 600 USD less.
