This image was taken as a screen shot from what appeared to be a leaked French promo for the 2012 Mercedes SLK, but as we were writing this article the video was taken down.
As the image shows, the 2012 Mercedes SLK will feature a front fascia that resembles the SLS through its proeminent grille and headlights design that incorporate the adaptive lighting system, the front quarter vents and the LED daytime running lights.
The 2012 Mercedes SLK AMG package will also be offered with the ‘traditional’ sporty features like a more aggressively styled fascia, the AMG design alloys and ventilated brake discs.
Thanks to this leaked commercial video with the 2012 Mercedes SLK we were also informed that the car will be offered with an intelligent light system, the DISTRONIC PLUS AND PRE-SAFE braking system, a adaptive suspension, in car Internet access, sun-reflecting leather seats, the Aircarf system which warms the head and the neck plus the MAGIC SKY CONTROL roof which has already been described in one of our previous posts.
On the mechanical side, the 2012 Mercedes SLK will be offered with ‘new powerfull’ direct injection engines, all mated with the ECO stop-start technology.
