After publishing a huge photo gallery with the 2012 Mercedes CLS 63 AMG on Friday, when the German automaker announced its pricing, it is now time to see how this performance 4-door coupe looks like in action, and this next promo video offers just that.
Powered by a new 5.5-litre biturbo V8 which produces 525 HP and 700 Nm of torque (557 HP and 800 Nm of torque with the AMG Performance Package), the 2012 Mercedes CLS 63 AMG archives impressive fuel consumption figures (9.9-litres per 100 Km), which represents a 32 percent improvement over the previous generation model fitted with a 6.3-litre V8.
Both versions 2012 Mercedes CLS 63 AMG use a 7-speed Speedshift MCT automatic transmission and take require 4.4 seconds (4.3 seconds with the AMG Performance Package) to accelerate from 0 to 100 Km/h. Top speed is limited to 250 Km/h (155 mph).
Pricing for the 2012 Mercedes CLS 63 AMG starts at 115,846 Euro, while the AMG Performance Package carries a 7,735 Euro tag.
