After unveiling their new three-door coupe in Detroit yesterday, the Korean automaker has also released the first 2012 Hyundai Veloster video which offers driving scenes with two exemplars on a remote location.
Towards the end of the video we get to see a little more intense action, with the 2012 Hyundai Veloster going sideways, as the car maker wants to underline the sporty characteristics of the new Honda CR-Z competitor.
Powered by a 1.6-litre 4-cylinder engine the 2012 Hyundai Veloster delivers 138 HP and 123 lb-ft of torque to the front wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox. A dual clutch transmission will also be available, and in terms of fuel economy this unconventional new model is expected to return an average 40 mpg.
