Pricing for the Korean automaker’s flagship sedan, the 2012 Hyundai Genesis has just been announced. As you may recall, this facelift version was introduced at the Chicago Auto Show back in February, and since then the company announced that the car will be available with three engine choices.
These are a 3.8-litre V6 generating 333 HP (291 lb-ft) and responsible for returning 29 mpg on the highway, a 4.6-litre V8 developing 385 HP (333 lb-ft) and a 5.0-litre V8 plant for the R-Spec model, which is capable of unleashing 429 HP and 376 lb-ft of torque.
All engines mentioned above are mated with an 8-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC, and on the R-Sped version, fuel economy figures are 16 mpg city and 25 mph highway.
Apart from a series of discrete visual changes, like slightly modified bumpers, revamped taillights, a new exhaust and restyled alloys, the 2012 Hyundai Genesis will now come with headlight LED accents, daytime running lights
(DRLs) and outside mirror puddle lamps as features that complete the already impressive list of standard equipment.
The 2012 Hyundai Genesis price starts at 34,200 USD for the 3.8 version and reaches 44,500 USD for the 4.6 variant. As for the 2012 Hyundai Genesis 5.0 R-Spec pricing starts at 46,500 USD.
