Details with the 2012 Honda Civic are starting to surface as the new generation was spied during road tests. The 9th generation Honda Civic was still completely disguised in camouflage so there is nothing we can say about its design at this point, except for the fact that it will maintain the same shape as the outgoing version.
Rumors are also mentioning that the 2012 Honda Civic will also keep its dramatic aspect, while under its bonnet the manufacturer is expected to fit a smaller diesel engine that will replace the current 2.2-litre unit. The company’s new petrol powerplant is also expected to be offered on the 2012 Honda Civic together with their new twin-clutch transmission.
A 2012 Honda Civic Hybrid version could also get the green light.
