The new 2012 Ford Ranger goes on sale in the UK next month, so how much does this new pickup truck cost? well according to the Blue Oval it starts at 15,515 GBP and reaches 25,040 GBP for the range topping variant.
Available in thee cab bodystyles (Double, Super and
Regular), the 2012 Ford Ranger which measures 5,359mm in length and 1,850 mm in width, brags with its capacity of moving more than 1,340 Kg and its best in class towing capability and watter-wading capability of 3,350 Kg and 800 mm respectively.
Its engine range consists of two new Duratorq TDCi diesels (I4 and I5) with 2.2-litre and 3.2-litre capacities, producing 150 PS (110 kW) and 375 Nm
of torque and 200 PS (147 kW)
and 470 Nm of torque respectively.
Transmission choices include 6-speed manual and automatics and the new pickup is also available with 4×2 and 4×4 drivetrains.
The four trim levels under which the 2012 Ford Range will be sold are XL, XLT, Limited and Wildtrak and some of the safety systems on selected models include the Electronic
Stability Program (ESP) which integrates other new control features such as Hill Descent Control, Hill Launch Assist, Trailer Sway Control,  Adaptive Load Control, Emergency Brake Assist and Roll-Over Mitigation.
