The 2012 DeltaWing IndyCar concept was introduced at the Chicago Auto Show this week and it represents a cheaper, safer and more efficient proposal for the the American Indycar racing series.
Designed by Lola’s ex chief designer, the 2012 DeltaWing IndyCar concept is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo charged engine that will produce approximately 300 HP at 7,000 rpm. With this engine the maximum speed that can be reached is 235 mph thanks in part to the fact that total weigh (with driver) is 1,030 lbs.
