The Bavarian automaker has announced the UK pricing for the 2012 BMW M5 which will be seen for the first time in public at The Goodwood Festival of Speed between July 1 to 3.
Fitted with the most advanced and powerful engine ever to come out of the M performance division, the 2012 BMW M5 uses a high-revving 4.4-litre V8 that unleashes 560 HP and thanks to which the German premium executive saloon accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 4.4 seconds and from 0 to 124 mph in 13 seconds.
The same engine take the 2012 BMW M5 to a limited top speed of 155 mph and helps achieve fuel economy figures of 28.5 mpg UK (CO2 – 232 g/Km) due to efficiency maximizing features like a 7-speed M Double Clutch Transmission, Auto Start Stop and Brake Energy Regeneration.
Other standard features include an Active M differential and electronic damping control plus numerous driver assistance systems.
The 2012 BMW M5 UK price starts at 73,040 GBP, and sales will start in November.
