Autocar’s latest short review brings the heavily revised 2012 Bentley Continental GT into the spot light. with the test concentrating on three aspects : entertainment, practicality and value for money.
With 567 bhp PS and 700 Nm being fed to the car’s four-wheel-drive system via a new Quickshift transmission the 2012 Bentley Continental GT which weights no less than 2.32 tonnes has plenty of grip and plenty of go and can easily take its occupants and their luggage on long trips like for example from the UK to the South of France.
Pricing for the base version 2012 Bentley Continental GT starts at 135,000 GBP, but the version shown in this review costs 175,000 GBP. The law of diminishing returns says the new Continental GT does not worth much more than a Porsche 911 or a Maserati, but even though you end up paying more in this case, it is all about how this ar makes you feel, and according to Autocar it does make you feel pretty darn special.
Conclusion : Featuring extra ability and more poise, the 2012 Bentley Continental GT is as characterful and endearing as ever and received four out of five starts.
