As the 2012 Audi TT RS has finally arrived on US shores, the four ring automaker decided to released details regarding its specifications and pricing.
With power extracted from a 2.5-litre 5-cylinder turbo TFSI engine, the North American version 2012 Audi TT RS delivers 360 HP and 343 lb-ft of torque between 1,650 and 5,400 rpm, which means it packs 20 HP and around 12 lb-ft more than the European bound version.
These figures will enable the 2012 Audi TT RS to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 174 mph.
The car comes with a six-speed manual transmission as standard, along with other features like Audi’s magnetic ride, a dual circuit braking system, 19 inch alloys and a fixed rear wing. At the interior the TT RS features a three-spoke sport steering wheel, aluminium door sills, leather seats 10-way adjustable at the front, LED ambient lighting, brushed aluminum interior inlays and a premium sound system from BOSE.
