The next generation Audi RS3 has been spied recently as it was barely wearing any camouflage. Numerous sources say that production for the new RS3 will arrive in dealerships in 2012 and that it will pack 335 BHP.
The 2012 Audi RS3 will extract its juice from a 2.5-litre 5-cylinder engine, also found in the TT RS model, and the 335 HP and 332 lb-ft of torque will enable the future German hatch to sprint from 0 to 62 mph in 4.5 seconds and reach maximum speeds of 160 mph.
The 2012 Audi RS3 is expected to use a 7-speed dual clutch transmission and some of its main rivals will include the Ford Focus RS500 and the future BMW 1 Series M.
