It didn’t take long for the German automaker to also release the first videos with the 2012 Audi A6, and the 2012 Audi A6 Hybrid.
With an overall balanced designed, that looks elegant, and inline with the rest of Audi’s model range, the 2012 Audi A6 will be offered with five engine choices out of which the most powerful will be the 3.0-litre TFSI petrol producing 300 HP and 440 Nm of torque which is able to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 5.5 seconds and also able to reach a limited top speed of 155 mph (250 Km/h). This 3.0 TFSI V6 version 2012 Audi A6 will require 8.2-litres of fuel per 100 Km (26.68 mpg) while its CO2 emission levels are 190 grams per Km, (305.78 g/mile).
As we mentioned the second video presents the 2012 Audi A6 Hybrid, a model which will uses a 2.0-litre TFSI with 208 HP and a 44 HP electric engine that will offer a combined 241 HP and 480 Nm of torque.
The 2012 Audi A6 Hybrid will also feature a 39 kW lithium-ion battery which will enable the car to accelerate to 100 Km/h using only electric power and also travel for up to 3 Km without using the petrol engine.
The 2012 Audi A6 Hybrid is expected to hit 100 Km/h from a stand still in 7.3 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 238 Km/h. In terms of efficiency the 2012 Audi A6 Hybrid will consume6.2-litres of fuel per 100 Km (38 mpg) while CO2 emissions are 142 g/Km.
