Renault is introducing their updated version 2011 Renault Kangoo, which received a mild facelift and a more refined interior, and which will go on sale from March.
Featuring a more modern appearance, the 2011 Renault Kangoo comes with revised bumpers and exterior mirrors painted in the same colour as the rest of the body, chrome door handles, and body coloured protective mouldings on the sides. All four versions 2011 Renault Kangoo (Access,
Authentique, Expression and Privilege) are also available with three new exterior colours : Moka Brown, Etoile Blue (metallic) and Taupe Grey (nonmetallic), while at the interior the French automaker has changed the lower part of the cabin to a darker colour, plus the dashboard now features a graphite black finish.
The heater console and air vents have also been revised, plus the equipment levels are now more carefully targeted.
The engine lineup for the 2011 Renault Kangoo includes new Euro5 compliant petrol and diesel plants, and depending on the market, the Kangoo can be ordered with the 1.6 90 or 1.6 16V 105 petrol engines, or with the dCi 70, dCi 80, dCi 85 or dCi 105 diesel engines.

To match customer demand even more closely, Renault has upgraded the specification of its
Kangoo range with the introduction of the Generation 2011 line-up. The carefully tailored range
is more in tune with the needs of today’s customers and goes on sale in March 2011 with a
price tag that is more attractive than ever.
Like the previous version, Kangoo Generation 2011 models are manufactured at the MCA plant
(Maubeuge Construction Automobile) in Maubeuge, France.
MORE MODERN LOOKS
The Generation 2011 Renault Kangoo line-up benefits from enhanced exterior and interior looks
and appointments, as well as attractive, more contemporary styling for all four versions (Access,
Authentique, Expression and Privilège).
– Three new body colours: Moka Brown, Etoile Blue (metallic) and Taupe Grey (nonmetallic),
plus the seven existing colours (Glacier White, Vif Red, Sidéral Grey, Beige Grey,
Pavot Red, Silver Blue and Metal Black), for a range of 10 body colours in all.
– The lower part of the cabin of Generation 2011 Kangoos is darker, while the
dashboard features a more refined, graphite black finish. The heater console and air
vents have also been revised and are picked out in either satin-finish chrome (Authentique
equipment level) or Hot Metal (Expression and Privilège equipment levels).
– Revised bumpers and exterior mirrors:
· Body colour bumpers and exterior mirrors for Authentique versions.
· Be Bop-type (Metal Grey) bumpers and exterior mirrors for Expression versions (in
France) and Privilège versions.
– Chrome door handles and body-colour side protective mouldings are available from the
Expression equipment level up.
– Upgraded upholstery: Elegie (Expression versions) or Celcius (Privilège) upholstery.
MORE CAREFULLY TARGETED EQUIPMENT LEVELS
In addition to their interior and exterior styling enhancements, all Generation 2011 Kangoos
feature a specification upgrade and a more targeted choice of equipment levels. The new lineup
reinforces Kangoo’s inherent appeal, but still at affordable prices.
The most striking changes compared with previous versions are:
– Audio – three available levels:
– 4x20W radio-CD with steering wheel-mounted remote control, MP3 playback, separate
display and RCA auxiliary socket.
– 4x20W radio-CD with steering wheel-mounted remote control, MP3 playback, Bluetooth
connectivity, separate display and RCA auxiliary socket.
– 4x20W radio-CD with steering wheel-mounted remote control, MP3 playback, Bluetooth
and Plug&Music connectivity and separate display (due for release at a later date).
– 15-inch ‘all terrain’ tyres plus steel sump guard available for all equipment levels (except
Access) (due for release at a later date).
– Rev-counter, baggage cover, tyre inflation kit and lidded glovebox are standard
equipment from the Access equipment level up.
– Body colour front and rear bumpers, plus 4x20W radio-CD with MP3 playback, separate
display and RCA auxiliary socket from the Authentique equipment level up.
– Be Bop-type bumpers with body colour side protective mouldings, leather-trimmed steering
wheel, cruise control with speed limiter, trip computer and automatic climate control with rain
and light sensors (Climate Pack) for Expression versions.
– Innovative roof bars, 4x20W radio-CD with Bluetooth connectivity, black headlight masks
and extra-tinted rear glass for the Privilège equipment level.
EURO5 ENGINES AVAILABLE
The Generation 2011 Kangoo line-up features a choice of new petrol and diesel Euro5 engines.
All the diesel versions powered by a Euro5 engine qualify for the Renault eco² signature
(depending on equipment level).
· The 1.6 16V 105 Euro5 engine is available:
– In Bio ethanol for all equipment levels (except Access and be bop)
– With automatic transmission: Expression and Privilège versions
· The particulate filter-equipped 1.5 dCi Euro5 diesel engine is available with a choice of
three power outputs:
– dCi 75 (Access and Authentique versions)
– dCi 90 (Authentique, Expression and Privilège versions)
– dCi 110 (Expression and Privilège versions)
Depending on market, Generation 2011 versions of Kangoo can also be ordered with the 1.6 90
or 1.6 16V 105 petrol engines, or with the dCi 70, dCi 80, dCi 85 or dCi 105 diesel engines.
CHANGES TO KANGOO BE BOP AND KANGOO EXPRESS
The specification changes introduced for Generation 2011 versions of Kangoo also apply to be
bop versions and the Kangoo Express range. They chiefly concern Kangoo’s new interior trim.
Principal changes:
· Kangoo be bop (available in France at tax-paid prices starting from €17,950)
– Graphite black dashboard.
– Chrome door handles.
– New dCi 90 engine (positions the tax-paid price of Be Bop with Euro5 diesel
power at less than €18,000).

passenger car version).

The ‘EXTRA’ special series available in France continues to figure in the
Generation 2011 line-up (Kangoo Express, Kangoo Express Compact and Kangoo
Express Maxi). Its standard specification includes Bluetooth audio, parking
proximity sensors and cruise control with speed limiter.
