Daimler’s new presentation video gives details on some of the highlights found on the feacelift version 2011 Mercedes CL.
The exterior appearance has been further refined by a series of redesigned elements like the front section with the reshaped grille, bonnet, headlamps and bumper, plus the new taillights and exhaust pipes at the back.
The interior received even higher quality materials and there is also a new V8 engine for the 2011 Mercedes CL500 (known as the CL550 on the N.A. market). This new twin-turbo V8 with a 4.7-litre capacity produces 429 horsepower, which are enough to accelerate the German luxury coupe from 0 to 100 Km/h in 4.9 seconds.
Despite the 12 percent increase in performance, the 2011 Mercedes CL500 has lower fuel consumption figures by 23 percent. The other engine choice for the 2011 Mercedes CL facelift is the company’s V12.
