The 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee presented in the video was introduced at New York’s Auto Show two days ago and besides a more sophisticated interior the company gave it a new engine as well. Powered by the all new 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that packs 280 hp (209 kW) and 260 lb.-ft. of torque (353 Nm) at 4,800 rpm the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee is now equipped with an independent front and rear suspension that improves handling also offering a smoother ride. As for Jeep’s renowned off-road capabilities the Quadra-Lift suspension on the 2011 Grand Cherockee has five height settings for optimum ride performance and can raise the car to a maximum height of 11.1 inches. For more power the traditional 5.7-liter V8 HEMI is also available developing 360 horsepower (268 kW) and 390 lb.-ft. of torque (520 Nm) @ 4,250 rpm.
