In their latest review video the journalists from Autocar test drive the 2011 BMW 5 Series. Even though the newest Bavarian luxury sedan is a more refined car with a more mature attitude and improved ride quality, Andrew Frankel says the 2011 BMW 5 Series isn’t the instant class leading vehicle like the previous generations. He also says the 2011 BMW 5 Series lost some of its "fun to drive" abilities but then again this might be just a matter of defining what "fun to drive" means.
Overall the car is still excellent, and some of the new features includes the new iDrive system which has been greatly improved, a longer wheelbase that comes close to the one in the Mercedes E Class and a suspension that has been carried over from the 7 Series.
