For 2010 Skoda is replacing the 2.0 TDI PD engine powering the Superb model with the company’s new 2.0-litre TDI CR unit (Common Rail diesel technology).
The 2010 Skoda Superb 2.0 TDI CR packs 140 BHP, so even though power is the same as before, fuel efficiency has improved by 4.4 mpg (52.3 mph) and CO2 emissions are 12g/Km lower (143 g/Km).
The figures mentioned above place the 2010 Skoda Superb 2.0 TDI CR with its diesel particulate filter (DPF) within the Euro 5 emission standards.
The 2010 Skoda Superb 2.0 TDI CR price starts at 18,205 GBP with market launch set for February 18th. The car well be offered with either a 6-speed manual or twin-clutch DSG transmissions in hatchback or estate bodystyles.
