GM announced that it will launch the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro Indy 500 Pace Car edition which is a replica of the pace car used in the Indianapolis 500.
The 2010 Chevrolet Camaro Indy 500 Pace Car replica is based on the most generous trim level (2SS) with the RS appearance package and includes 20 inch polished aluminium wheels, two White Peral rally stripes, the ‘Inferno Orange’ front grille and engine cover and the 2010 Indianapolis 500 event logo on the doors and front fenders.
At the interior the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro Indy 500 Pace Car replica has the same logo embroidered on the headrests plus premium floor mats.
Under the bonnet the 6.2-litre V8 that spits out 400 horsepower is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission with remote start and GM says only a total of around 200 units will get produced.
