The German automaker released information on its revised 2009 Volkswagen Passat R Line range that includes the saloon and the Estate variants for the UK market. Based on the entry level S version the 2009 Volkswagen Passat R Line edition comes with a 17,040 GBP price tag and includes 2,470 GBP worth of equipment for just 600 GBP over the S.
Exterior elements on the 2009 Volkswagen Passat R Line include front, side and rear skirts, chrome louvres and grille surround, a set of 17 inch Monte Carlo alloys as well as a choice of eight body colors available.
As far as motorisation the 2009 Volkwagen Passat R Line can extract power from either two types of petrol engines (the 1.5-litre TSI with 122 PS or 1,8-litre TSI and 160 PS) or two 2.0-litre common rail TDI units producing 110 PS or 140 PS.
