In this world there is lots of type of drivers. Some of them love to drive at the limit, other just love to enjoy a ride, but there are a few who just want to consume as little fuel as possible. The Austrian Gerhard Plattner is one of those who really enjoy long drives with less fuel.

In his last journey, Plattner took a Skoda Citigo CNG and managed to cover 2.619 kilometers with less than 100 Euros spent on fuel. At the end of the journey the Skoda onboard computer was displaying 2.39 kg of natural gas per 100 kilometers.

"I am very excited about this record; it’s a testament to the efficiency of the CNG engine in the Skoda Citigo. Despite the unexpected price increases for natural gas in Italy and Sweden, I managed it on this small budget and even have 18,76 Euros left," said Gerhard Plattner at the end of his journey.
