Yesterday we talked about Renault’s recent achievement on the Nurburgring, which consists of a new track record (8 min 7.97 seconds) for FWD vehicles, set by test driver Laurent Hurgon behind the wheel of the new Renault Megane RS 265 Trophy.
Today we have a video with Hurgon’s record run, which in case you were curious, improves the previous record set with the previous generation Megane RS R26.R by an impressive 9 seconds.
We have no doubt that all 500 exemplars Megane RS 265 Trophy will be sold in no time after the brand’s fans will become aware of this new record. All of these units pack 265 HP and 360 Nm of torque, and accelerate from 0 to 100 Km/h in 6.0 seconds.
The Megane RS 265 Trophy went on sale yesterday, and in France the car starts at 35000 Euro.
