Prindiville, a London based tuner who recently announced that it is back in business, have presented their take on the Limited Edition Land Rover Defender.
Limited to 25 exemplars world-wide, this hand assembled Land Rover is based on the latest Defender 90 Hard Top model which comes with a 2.4-litre TDi engine under the hood coupled to a dual-range six-speed gearbox.
The 122 bhp produced as standard by this engine have been increased to 190 bhp and 460 Nm of peak torque, figures which enable the British model to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 10 seconds, which is pretty good considering the size and the weight of this car.
Apart from the power increase Prindiville has also enhanced the Defender’s cooling, its suspension and its braking (6-pot callipers and sport disc), plus added a set of 18-inch wheels wrapped in chunky tires and a titanium high performance sports exhaust.
At the exterior the tuner has also added side protection runners, LED front and rear headlamps, a ribbed undershield, front and rear parking sensors and cameras and a bespoke paint scheme available in wither matt or metallic finish.
Interior enhancements performed by Prindviilleon the Limited Edition Land Rover Defender include leather trimming, Cobra sport seats, hand-stitched piping, a leather wrapped steering wheel, alcantara carpets and a bespoke center console storage unit.
There is also an dashboard-mounted numbered aluminium plaque that reminds of how exclusive the car is.
Its price is also on the ‘exclusive’ side, as it starts at 52,000 GBP or 81,500 USD.
