Every major car magazine will sooner or later get its hands on the new Lamborghini Aventador, and after we’ve seen Autocar’s first review of the LP700 4, it is now time to see what the journalists from EVO think about it.
They took the Murcielago replacement for a test drive on the Vallelunga track in Italy, and have also spoken to Maurizio Reggiani, Lamborghini’s Research and Development Technical Director who talked a little about the technical highlights on the new Aventador.
We won’t go through the Lamborghini Aventador specs again, as I’m sure you are familiar with its numbers by now. What we will mention however is EVO’s conclusion after spending an entire day with the LP700-4 at the Vallelunga. They think the new Aventador represents a game changer for the Italian automaker, as this is the first V12 powered Lamborghini who feels ‘at home’ on a track.
Besides the fact that is looks great at that it packs 700 HP, the Aventador is very well balanced, has incredible handling and a great brake feel, and could very well be the best super sports car in the world right now.
