Audi in launching a limited edition R8 V8 which features a series of distinctive visual elements and a higher level of standard equipment, that marks the automaker’s 10th victory at the 24h of Le Mans.
The car is available with a manual or an R tronic automated transmission and comes with 19 inch, R8 GT inspired, titanium look alloy wheels, red brake callipers and an optional Carbon Package which includes carbon sigma side blades, door
mirrors, monoposto, inlays and door sill trims.
Inside the R8 V8 Limited Edition Audi created an unique environment by adding various crimson red accents, seats and headrests covered in black Nappa leather and with contrasting red stitching.
This special edition model is powered by the same 4.2-litre V8 found in the standard version, which means its output reaches 430 bhp while consumption and emissions will be of 21.2 mpg (UK rating / R tronic) and 310 grammes per Km respectively.
The Audi R8 V8 Limited Edition will also accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 4.6 seconds and it maximum speed is expected to be 187 mph.
The Audi R8 V8 Limited Edtion price will start from 93,935 GBP, and customers will be able to order the car starting from next month. Production is limited to 100 exemplars, all of which will be sold in the UK.
