The Brits from EVO are among the first who got their hands on the 2012 Honda Civic, so if you are interested to find out what they think about this European version new generation hatchback then don’t miss the video below the jump.
As you may know the new Civic hatch is being offered with three engine choices, out of which two are petrols (1.4 and 1.8-litre i-VTECs) and one is a 2.2-litre diesel, and even though it may sound strange, EVO recommends the diesel because in this case it is the most powerful of all due to its 148 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque and makes the car’s chassis come alive
Apart from producing around 128 lb-ft of torque than the 1.8-litre petrol, the other good part about the diesel version is the fact that it only emits 108 grammes of CO2 per Km, so if you have around 20,095 GBP sitting around, and you want an ‘individual looking car’ with a decent ride and good steering, then you should schedule a visit to the Honda dealership in February, because that is when the 2012 Civic goes on sale in the UK.
What else does EVO have to say about the new Civic? well hit play and see for yourself.
